Print, panel, and the numbers around them.
The same plain sheet, taken to a flatbed printer. Artwork is supplied as vector or 300 dpi raster, colour-matched to a Pantone target where required. Multi-panel compositions are aligned at the joint so the artwork reads as one piece.
Soft-finish print. The ink soaks into the fibre rather than sitting on top of a varnish layer. Image stays matte, hand-feel stays felt. Best results from supplied vector artwork or 300 dpi raster files at full panel scale.
Print sits in the fibre.
TOYO UV ink absorbs into the polyester face rather than sitting on top of it. No varnish, no laminate. NRC tracks plain panel within tolerance. Full Intertek 2025 absorption data lives on the material page. Heavy-coverage prints can drop direct-mount NRC by 0.02 to 0.04 at the high end of ink load.
An acoustic panel stays an acoustic panel.
The print sits in the fibre, not over it. The artwork cannot lift, peel or crack. TOYO UV inks are stable under interior light. Cleaning is the same as plain panel. There is no varnish to scratch.
- Cleaning
- Vacuum with a soft-brush head. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and pH-neutral detergent. Ink is set in the fibre and won't wipe out. No solvents.
- Moisture
- TOYO UV inks are water-stable once cured. Wipe dry. The print does not bleed or run.
- UV
- TOYO UV inks are stable under interior light. Direct sunlight fades any dyed material over time. KARIKA acoustic panel is rated for interior use only.
- Allergens
- None known. TOYO UV inks are low-VOC and certified to RoHS, REACH and EN 71-3. Used in hospitals, schools and clinics.
- Warranty
- Two years against workmanship and manufacturing defects, including print fidelity.
- End of life
- Fully recyclable. The print does not contaminate the PET recycling stream.
